...and can now finally let our dog Deedee run freely in the back. Another incentive to owning over renting is the fact that we will be able to receive a tax rebate in the coming year which means more money for decorating.

Our home building experience went smoothly. We were able to make decisions from the time the frame started to go up until the final board was put down on our laminate flooring. The design team was fantastic, we were able to take our time picking out everything from the tile to the countertops. Everything was done in steps so we did not feel overwhelmed at all.

We chose to purchase our new home in the Davyn Ridge community because we wanted to keep our children in the same school district and we really fell in love with the Loredo floor plan. We love to have family over for holidays and thought that the open floor plan suits our family just perfectly. Our favorite part of the home is the fact that the children’s bedrooms are on the other side of the house and there are two lofts that separate them from our master suite which allows for privacy when we need it.

I moved to Brooklyn Park to take advantage of the $8,000 tax rebate and I did not like throwing away $12,000 in rent last year. I am so proud to say "yes, even that door knob is MINE." I have invested in my future, no penny goes to waste. There is a real sense of pride and ownership. I view my home and its beauty as a reflection of who I am: fabulous, modern, sleek/smooth, and valuable.

Now I live 13 minutes from work, and the community has a city feel in a nice area with the convenience of many types of business. The location, value and bang for my buck made me choose Ryland. The homes are very sleek, modern and the exterior is gorgeous. The layout of the Barnegat is very open. I can see multiple rooms from the loft area. The floor plan is super fabulous, like my lifestyle and it fits my fashion sense/needs. The open feel of loft definitely made it welcoming and warm and cozy. I enjoy ALL of the upgrades: my super chef kitchen, maple wood railings and doors, island kitchen, stainless steel appliances, vaulted ceilings, and custom wall and furniture.

I couldn't be happier and would love to refer all my friends to Ryland (and I do, through facebook and social outings). I appreciate the sales staff’s knowledge of the business and promptness in responding to my texts even at the most inconvenient times; also my constant emails and questions. As a first time homebuyer, I can honestly say that I couldn't have been more pleased with the value of my home and that it has over 100% of what I was looking for.

We decided on Ryland because...in a word, reputation. We have several friends that built with Ryland and Ryland clearly exceeded all of their expectations. We can honestly say that there wasn’t a single issue the whole time. All of our questions were addressed in a very timely manner by the entire staff at Ryland from the sales counselor, to the mortgage rep, to the design center rep, to the homebuilding supervisor. Everything was on schedule and the whole process went smoothly from start to finish. We wanted a nice community to raise a family and we found just that at The Boulders. In looking at the other neighborhoods in the area, it was very apparent that The Boulders had a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

We purchased the Westchester because we really liked the open floor plan and value as a whole, but the beautiful gourmet kitchen is what really sold me the most. The kitchen, hands down, is our favorite room. It is very spacious with plenty of storage and very easy to cook and entertain in. It is also very beautiful to look at. We love to entertain and for the first time in my life I feel proud of my home when I entertain and I have adequate space for everyone.

We moved on February 17th of this year to the Vineyards community of Clinton, MD. This was our first time building a house and didn't know too much about the builders. But in our search for a home and community, we were most attracted by this development in comparison to the other new developments in the area. This development seemed to be thriving during a time when other developments were struggling. All the models available were beautiful but we chose the Barrington. We were most fascinated by the unique design of the split staircase. The most attractive aspect of the home is the sunroom. It opens up the kitchen area and allows natural light to shine in. And because we added the sunroom, it gave us additional space in the basement.

Ryland as a whole surpassed all our expectations. Every Ryland employee we worked with went above and beyond to make the process smooth and make us feel at ease. They were all very pleasant and knowledgable. The quality of the home is amazing! We will only buy and recommend Ryland homes in the future. We couldn't be any more pleased with our home.
